I've taken that into account, by stating that if anyone wants to
invite him, I'll go with that. 

Anyone is welcome to attend a BUUG meeting, without invitation.
If the representative can guarantee that he'll require no more
than 1/2 hour of our undivided attention, then he is welcome. If
he turns out to use a hard-sell or evangelistic approach, he'll
just be hooted out of the meeting. His correspondence reflects
such an approach, though I am willing to give him the benefit of
the doubt. Sure, bring him on!
